F-V v Rss on Belgrade

After a disappointing loss last week to INS - and an 8 day break between matches - F-V were on the lookout to regain morale and continue the charge on the Gamearena ladder. Tonight we faced Rss on one of our weaker maps, Belgrade.

Round 1

(128) F-V| as PAC, RSS as EU (0)
F-V started with a very quick rollout, managing to beat Rss to the Statue flag and gain a foothold on the area. After a drawn out stalemate, a small inf squad supported by Mr. Rozalator in the walker pushed hard on the Com tower flag, eventually securing all 3 and putting Rss on the "mega bleed." Here a very lol moment occured, as F-V attempted to steal the walker, our squad leader disco ran over the two teammates he was dropping off. After a few lols in vent we got back to it, pushing a squad of 4 onto the walker spawn. After taking it, F-V camped Rss into the main and they were never able to get off the bleed.

Round 2

The second round started much like the first, with F-V quicker to Statue and managing to repell the Rss rollout. From here an Rss squad of 4 tried to flank the West of Com Tower. As 4 quickly became 6, once again Rozalator came in to save the day, scaring them off and taking out 2 in the process. As Rss^ tried to regroup their forces, F-V| pushed hard the Ruins flag, and entered the base for another walker steal attempt (this time without running over teammates). Hospitaller managed the walker steal, and a bit of a WTF? moment happened here, as we suddenly lost Coms in about 2 seconds flat. A UAV revealead no less then their entire team in the coms area. Rss^ fought hard to stay off the bleed and stop getting camped, but by now the damage had been done, with F-V taking out round 2 119-0
